I was bored this morning, and sketched some of the Perfect World heroines. These sketches aren’t great, but I hope that they can at least get the character designs across properly. xD
The two in dark purple are finalized designs, while the others are still undergoing changes. Also, Sarra is the main heroine, and Kim is only the protagonist’s little sister. Everyone else is a heroine.
There are two other main heroines, but I’ll sketch them out later. -_-;

Just looking at what you call “not great” tells me that I have to spend less time playing games and doing homework, and more time practising my drawing ability… (not that I was doing my homework anyway…)
On topic, I’m glad to see progress :)
Though some of them look similar, that’s probably because it’s a sketch, it’s all in purple and I’m looking at it through the tiny screen of my iPod. Most of them look unique, though.
I think you need a plot summary, like a paragraph or two that you would see on a website or wiki
On a side note, do you think having a blog helps you make progress? I was thinking about starting one if it did…

But thank you. It’s nice to know that my artwork isn’t as bad as I thought. x)
As to your question, it has honestly helped a lot. I think the biggest inspiration is the support I’ve gotten on each of my posts. Seeing other people’s interest and suggestions is the most motivating part. Just knowing that someone is looking forward to my work is enough for me to want to make my games as great as they can be, and with that in mind, I can work my hardest.

Ya, if I make a blog I’ll be sure to tell you, cause I don’t know many VN interested people… If I do make one it will be when my laptops fixed again(again)
And your art isn’t professional grade (mostly due to inexperience and lack of photoshopping), but it is way better than mine, and good enough to make a VN with. :)
And just remember this; never make a game or VN or anything for the money, make it for the fans. They will give you something worth much more than money, Im just not sure what it is yet :P
Oh and if the first ends up good I’d recommend charging a bit for the rest, or at least asking for donations (assuming I’ll have money to spend by then :o)
